Canada sending DART to help in Haiti

As the dust begins to settle in Haiti after the catastrophic earthquakes that devastated the already impoverished country, Canada has announced that it is sending in its élite military Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART).

It was announced today that the advance DART team is in Haiti assessing the situation and quickly planning for the arrival of the main force.   The mission in Haiti, code-named: Operation Hamlet, will consist of four goals.
